HP launched their MicroServer in 2011 with a target market for those looking at purchasing their first server and since then it has been doing very well both for those wanting their first server as well as a ‘virtualization test lab or low cost NAS solution’. It’s relatively scalable, low cost and perfect for your first server building upon the best of entry level server technologies and HP’s ProLiant technology.
