New Fujitsu MicroServer the PRIMERGY MX130 S2 available now!

The Fujitsu PRIMERGY MX130 S2 is their version of the HP Proliant MicroServer, I bought the S1 version last year to compare it to the MicroServer and I was very pleased with it, (which you can read here) there was just something about Fujitsu’s server. Anyway, they’ve updated it which is brilliant news, you can read all about it here. I wonder how things would compare now if I bought them again?

What did I like about the Fujitsu MX130 S1?

• Standard DVD drive
• Desktop pc form factor for easy maintenance and therefore easy to fit memory/additional PCI cards
• Quiet and wonderfully presented, you get the keyboard, the mouse and a vga/dvi adaptor so it’s ready out of the box – attention to detail.
• 2GB RAM – great for Windows Server operating system, with enough headroom for the OS and layered components.
