HP today announced enhancements to the HP Integrity NonStop portfolio that deliver increased capacity, improved performance and enhanced enterprise integration, enabling customers to drive business efficiency while providing greater service levels.

For 35 years, companies demanding uninterrupted applications have relied on HP NonStop systems to run their mission-critical operations. HP Integrity NonStop servers have delivered world-class fault tolerance and performance to companies worldwide that depend on reliable 24/7 operations, such as financial institutions, emergency response centers, hospitals and mobile phone operators.

“Rabobank looks to HP NonStop technology to handle our mission-critical financial services applications and help mitigate risks associated with virtual banking,” said Diederick de Buck, technical architect for NonStop systems at Rabobank, a full-range financial services provider based in the Netherlands. “The HP NonStop system has been an innovative force in mission-critical computing from the very beginning and has laid a solid foundation for Rabobank for many years to come.”

Anything HP can do to improve their offerings and the functionality of their NonStop solution has to be a good thing for their customers and the industry alike, I’m off to read up more about the announcements.
