Blade Watch

I’m making my way to the blade systems insight conference as we speak – I’m very pleased to be attending and it’ll be great to meet people, see what announcements, topics are discussed. I’ll be blogging the event, you’ll see me in my grey pin striped suit with my trusted ThinkPad. (The Powerbook is having a rest at the moment).

Anyway, I was looking around for flights to Arizona and found that business class was reaching the silly levels of cost, and a friend recommended SilverJet – they’re a business class only service to Newark (New York) and Dubai. So I’ve checked in and so far I’m impressed, I have my hildon mineral water, free wireless internet and a can of diet coke, as I type. I’ll then be getting some connecting flights down to Arizona, very cool.

Going back to the conference, I wonder what topics we’ll have, I’ve seen the agenda, and I’m looking forward to walking around and chatting with the Vendors about their products. Anything in the virtualization and power/cooling fields will be welcome topics, so we’ll have to see. If you want to meet me or chat with me, just drop me a mail or grab me as I’m walking by.
