F5 Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: FFIV), the global leader in Application Delivery Networking, today announced a series of events detailing its vision for the data centre in 2010.

These events will help IT professionals make the right decisions regarding technologies that will shape tomorrow’s data centre architectures. “In retrospect, there is often a fine line between technology that is genuinely innovative and groundbreaking, and that which seems questionable at first,” said Paul Sherry, Regional Director, Middle East & Africa at F5, “Organisations are currently facing a series of challenges that will fundamentally change the way data centres are architected.  Consolidation, the pressure to cut costs, and energy and resource concerns, are combining to change the technology landscape, and vendors are addressing these challenges in a number of ways.”

“This event aims to demonstrate how recent and forthcoming innovations will shape the data centres of 2010 and help businesses address their needs.  Dubai is an essential stop for our roadshow. With a booming IT industry, and an ever-growing need for application and data reliability, the UAE is a hugely important location for F5.”

Very cool, I was in Dubai, the pace of change is fantastic, the number of tall buildings and other property developments is amazing, not to mention the new metro service. With all this development we will need more communications and IT infrastructure, the broadband and wireless connections, gaining more exposure in these markets has to be a good thing for F5 and for choice in the region.
