Xsigo partners with Computacenter

Xsigo announced that it has formally partnered with IT services and solutions provider Computacenter. The partnership encompasses technical, marketing and professional services relationships and confirms Xsigo as an integral component of Computacenter’s virtualization offering.
Computacenter chose to partner with Xsigo due to its differentiated I/O virtualization product family. With Xsigo as a key part of its virtualization computing portfolio, Computacenter will be able to help its clients reduce costs even further, react more quickly to change and improve their response time to user requests. Computacenter is a European provider of VMware server virtualization solutions, and is headquartered in the UK. Xsigo Systems is a provider of I/O virtualization and is based in San Jose, CA, USA.

I had a chat with one of their guys, I remain a big fan of the Xsigo value proposition in terms of virtualizing the I/O (the SAN and the network), any technologies we can deploy that can make the provisioning of storage and network easier has to be a good thing.
