LONDON, Jan. 7 — DataSynapse Inc., the global provider of real-time infrastructure software, today announced that it experienced another solid year of growth in 2007, as it increased its sales year-over-year by more than 50 percent, while making significant additions to its product portfolio, executive leadership team and customer roster.
“For a company to remain successful in the rapidly evolving virtualization and real-time infrastructure markets, it has to be continuously listening to its customers, watching industry developments and refining its own technology,” said Dan Kusnetzky, president and principal analyst of Kusnetzky Group LLC. “Since its inception, DataSynapse has taken all the right steps in building and aligning its technology with the needs of the market.”
Very cool news for DataSynapse, and it highlights not only the opportunity in Grid/HPC computing but also around the way we manage the data center, the IT infrastructure.
Let me explain what I mean by this. Let’s take the average corporate, the challenge is not so much about the power of my infrastructure, IT’s ability to carry out that batch report for the risk guys, or for the web site to be fast enough, resilient enough. The challenge is to efficiently and effectively meet your service level agreements, your user experience.
That with Grid/HPC solutions we can define/work towards implementing SLA’s and allocating resources dynamically to achieve a set goal, a set application can be freeing to a business.
The ability to say to the credit guys, “you need more power?” for their batch because the traders have completed that rights issue, can not only improve the lead time to the end user, it can pay dividends in improving not only the perception of IT, but of your business. Our system is 99.999% available and scalable to your business. - Great if you’re attempting to get a business deal, a rights issue in the bond market etc.
