Outsourcing elements of the IT infrastructure continues

IBM says the contract includes support for NAB’s new desktop architecture, known as the ‘Australian Regional Desktop Technology Platform’.
The vendor says it service model “provides significant gains to NAB in terms of cost efficiency”.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Check out this article about IBM signing a deal to manage the desktop and service desk services of this organization. It’s interesting to see what elements of the IT infrastructure the different businesses are choosing to outsource as part of their business or IT strategy.
