Came across this article about complex event processing which sounds very interesting, I’ll need to read up on CEP, in the meantime this consultancy is now extending it services to include complex event processing, which as I understand it (briefly reading a few articles) is about developing event driven systems, it sounds very interesting and I wonder how you could apply this to financial systems like trading/risk analytics etc.
