AMSTERDAM (Reuters) – Bank of America Corp has shelved plans to take ABN AMRO NV to court, preferring to wait until the Dutch Supreme Court rules on the Dutch bank’s sale of its U.S. unit, a Bank of America spokesman said on Friday.

“Bank of America and ABN asked to delay the lawsuit,” a spokesman for Bank of America said.

It will be interesting to see how the Dutch Supreme Court rules in terms of the ABN transaction, will need to see how it develops, the quicker it’s completed, the sooner people will know where they are.
