Application virtualization vendor DataSynapse is working toward an initial public offering and could be ready to o public early next year, according to chief executive officer, Peter Lee.
The New York-based company had revenue in the region of $40m high last year, according to Lee, and is aiming to go public to drive forward acquisition plan to strengthen its business.
“We certainly have aspirations to file and go public as early as next year,” he told CBR. “We have the financials that can support going public, we have the management.”
Very cool, will need to keep an eye on this and see if this brings any new opportunities for investment in DataSynapse and its product offerings, check it out. Application virtualization/grid remains a topic of interest, the more we can grid the applications, the more we can commoditize the IT, reduce its cost and bring more on demand type ways of supplying it, where it’s processed, on what platform can become less of an issue than the delivery.
