Lindsay Ahlborg and Edward Schultz purchased the former Crest Craft jewelry factory in Providence’s West End in 1999, and then spent almost a decade deciding how to redevelop the building in a way that promised to return the investment.

Now Ahlborg and Schultz have made a decision – they are converting the building into a technology center.

There remains a great demand for data center space in the London area, as well as disaster recovery centers, taking old sites and re-developing them as a new data center can be a great way of doing this, I know old breweries or hospitals seemed to be popular due to the energy feeds sometimes coming from several different suppliers, the article discusses how they are doing it, check it out.
