Some of you guys asked me how to connect your Mac to internet GPRS using your Nokia E61, let me show you how:
On your Nokia E61 phone goto:
“Menu>Tools>Settings>Connection>Packet data†in Access point enter your APN address for internet access,
for example mine look like this “internet.beeline.ruâ€Â:
I updated my apple to the new 10.4.9 version which includes native support for the Nokia E61, it’s great, just checked my email, updated firefox and blogged from my powerbook which is using my tmobile account which gives me free internet. How cool is that? Check out this blog, it shows you how to do it.

I’m still using my Nokia E61 to connect to the internet from home thanks to T-Mobile’s web and walk, waiting for my new DSL connection (it’s been down for four days now), it’s fantastic and has been helping me blog at home from my trusted powerbook. What’s been particularly cool is, you go into apple internet sharing, and share it, so my powerbook connects to my nokia, connects to the web, then my powerbook creates a wireless network for my desktop to connect to for internet, I just know in windows I would have needed to answer technical questions, in Mac I think I pressed two buttons and said yes.
