One of my friends called me in a semi panicked frustrated way.

“You’ll know this, I’ve deployed the image to the blade and it’s not connecting to the altiris server, how do I fix it?”

The server your blade will connect to after the blade has sysprep’d and rebooted will be in a file called aclient.cfg, in that there will be how the altiris client is configured, for example dhcp connect to the altiris server using name “martinsbuildbox” or using ip address 10.1.88.19, open your image, change the aclient.cfg file to the correct values.  Now you can either log on to the blade you’ve just built or, reinstall the client from the altiris deployment console and tell it to install on the blade at issue, it’ll reconfigure it remotely for you.
